Chinese Manufacturer Fujian Jinlu Looks to Cambodia for Expansion

PHNOM PENH, July 16, 2026 – Chinese household goods manufacturer Fujian Jinlu Daily Chemical Co., Ltd. has expressed strong interest in establishing a factory in Cambodia, as Prime Minister Hun Manet welcomed the company's investment plans .

On the evening of July 15, Prime Minister Hun Manet received Mr. Fu Laifa, Director for Southeast Asian Affairs of Fujian Jinlu, for a courtesy call and working discussion on the sidelines of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in China, which runs from July 15 to 17 .

Mr. Fu Laifa briefed the Prime Minister on the company's operations, highlighting that Fujian Jinlu is a leading manufacturing enterprise producing household goods including insecticides, laundry detergent, sanitary paper, and various kitchen supplies .

Citing Cambodia's strong potential, the company expressed its intention to invest in setting up a production facility in the Kingdom .

Prime Minister Hun Manet welcomed the company's interest and emphasised the Royal Government's commitment to promoting local production to reduce reliance on imports. He noted that the investment aligns with the government's policy of encouraging domestic manufacturing and could eventually lead to exports to regional markets .

The Prime Minister encouraged the company to continue discussions with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to turn its investment plans into reality .
