Cambodian Culture Takes Flight: Traditional Dances Enliven Techo International Airport

PHNOM PENH, July 17, 2026 – Travellers passing through Techo International Airport are being treated to a vibrant display of Khmer culture, with traditional dance performances now taking place at the passenger terminal.

The airport announced on its official Facebook page that the cultural showcase will run from July 17 to August 10, with performances scheduled every Monday, Friday, and Saturday. Morning sessions run from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, while evening performances take place from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The programme features a rotating selection of Cambodia's most iconic dances, including the classical Apsara, the lively Koh Tralok, and the graceful Duong Chan, alongside other traditional performances. The schedule rotates on specific dates throughout the month.

The initiative is part of the airport's efforts to enhance the traveller experience while promoting Cambodia's rich cultural heritage to both domestic and international visitors.
