Clearer Guidelines for Local Administrative Service Fees and Timelines

PHNOM PENH, July 17, 2026 – The Ministry has issued new guidelines setting maximum service fees and timeframes for administrative services provided by district, municipal, and khan administrations.

According to the official announcement, the established fees and timeframes serve as the upper limits, allowing local authorities the flexibility to charge lower fees or waive them entirely based on actual circumstances. Service delivery timelines may also be shortened where practical.

The move aims to bring greater clarity and transparency to citizens seeking administrative services at the local level.
