U.S. Embassy Welcomes Top US Companies to Cambodia

PHNOM PENH, July 22, 2026 – The U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh is hosting the annual U.S.-ASEAN Business Council delegation to Cambodia on July 21-22, connecting more than a dozen leading U.S. companies with senior Cambodian government officials to expand trade and investment.

Led by Ambassador Brian McFeeters, the delegation includes representatives from healthcare, manufacturing, energy, financial services, digital technology, and hospitality. These companies represent the best of American innovation, setting global standards for quality, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

Delegation members and U.S. Embassy leadership are meeting with senior Royal Government officials, including Prime Minister Hun Manet, Senate President Hun Sen, Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, and officials responsible for commerce, health, energy, tourism, and technology.

Conversations are focused on practical steps to expand bilateral trade, strengthen the business environment, and open new opportunities for U.S. investment and cooperation in healthcare, transportation, digital trade, energy, and critical minerals.

On July 22, U.S. Embassy Acting Deputy Chief of Mission Katherine Diop joined RMA Group Board Chairman Kevin Whitcraft to celebrate the launch of Tonle Finance PLC, a new subsidiary of RMA Group. RMA Group has a long history of bringing iconic American brands to Cambodian consumers, including Ford, Swensen's, and Krispy Kreme. With the launch of Tonle Finance, the group is expanding access to responsible financing, a critical building block for economic growth.

U.S. Embassy Chargé d'Affaires Aleks Zittle said: "The delegation includes leaders in their industries who represent the best of American innovation, investment, and entrepreneurship. Many of these companies have been doing business in Cambodia for years, while others are exploring new opportunities. Together, they reflect the growth of the U.S.-Cambodia commercial relationship."
