iBank (Cambodia) Plc. Signs Memorandum of Understanding to Boost Cambodia-China Cultural Tourism Cooperation

Phnom Penh, July 24, 2026 — iBank (Cambodia) Plc. (iBank) has hosted a signing ceremony for a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cambodia-China Joint Culture Tourism Development Association and the Great China (Cambodia) Economics and Trade Service Center. This agreement aims to establish a closer framework for collaboration in cultural tourism, expand business networks, and attract foreign direct investment to Cambodia. More importantly, it demonstrates a positive environment for stable and secure investment in Cambodia for foreigners.
The agreement was signed at iBank's headquarters, focusing on strategic goals to promote key sectors, including: boosting cultural tourism initiatives, creating new business opportunities, and providing comprehensive financial solutions and banking services. "Cambodia is a financially secure country for foreign investors and tourists," the bank stated.

The signatories at the ceremony included: Dr. Hong Sokleng, CEO of iBank (Cambodia) Plc.; Mr. Mao Ratha, President of the Cambodia-China Joint Culture Tourism Development Association; and Mr. Yongli Cai, Chairman of Great China (Cambodia) Economics and Trade Service Center.

Additionally, Mr. Yongli Cai, Chairman of Great China (Cambodia) Economics and Trade Service Center, remarked: "This Memorandum of Understanding serves as a vital strategic bridge connecting China and Cambodia, working together to accelerate the flow of tourists and investment with even greater momentum."
The three parties will act as a unified bridge connecting tourism operators and investors from China.
