Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet Honors Fallen Soldiers' Families in Kandal

PHNOM PENH, August 3, 2026 – Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet traveled to Kandal province on Monday to honor the families of fallen soldiers in a deeply moving ceremony, where she handed over three newly constructed homes as a lasting tribute to their loved ones' sacrifice.
The homes, gifted by Prime Minister Hun Manet and Dr. Pich Chanmony herself, stand as a powerful expression of the Royal Government's profound respect and gratitude for the soldiers who laid down their lives in service to the nation.
During the ceremony, Dr. Pich Chanmony delivered messages of comfort and condolence from Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, and Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet. She also offered heartfelt words of remembrance, praising the fallen heroes for their unwavering patriotism, extraordinary courage, and steadfast devotion to Cambodia's peace and sovereignty.
In addition to the new homes, Dr. Pich Chanmony provided further support to ease the daily struggles of the bereaved families, including cash donations, essential household goods, food supplies, and other necessary items to help uplift their living conditions.
The event reaffirms the Royal Government's unwavering commitment to standing by the families of Cambodia's brave soldiers, ensuring they receive the care, dignity, and recognition they so rightfully deserve.
