Another Tragedy in Thailand: Sedan Crashes into Child Centre, 15 Children Injured

PHNOM PENH, August 7, 2026 – Just hours after a deadly school shooting in Nonthaburi, another tragedy has struck Thailand as a sedan crashed into the Nong Song Child Development Centre in Mueang district, Kanchanaburi province, injuring approximately 15 children who were taking a nap at the time of the incident, according to local reports.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, and all injured children have been transported to hospital for treatment. Authorities have reported that the children are now safe.

The Rattanavudh Foundation confirmed the details and appealed to the public to make way for ambulances responding to the incident. Further details regarding the cause of the crash have not yet been released.

The incident comes on the same day as a shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School, which left six people dead and 15 others wounded.
