Cambodian Artists Prepare Cultural Welcome for International Anti-Scam Conference

PHNOM PENH, September 11, 2026 – Cambodian artists are hard at work preparing a cultural performance to welcome delegates to the International Conference on Combating Technology-based Fraud, which Cambodia will host on September 23, 2026.

On September 10, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Vongsey Vissoth, accompanied by Minister of Culture and Fine Arts Dr. Phoeung Sakona, visited the Royal University of Fine Arts to inspect rehearsals and encourage the performers. The visit highlighted the important role of Cambodian arts and culture in welcoming international guests and showcasing the Kingdom's heritage on the global stage.

The rehearsal review reflects the government's commitment to ensuring a memorable and culturally rich experience for participants at the upcoming conference.
